Immediate and Short-term Effect of Quadriceps Kinesio-Taping on Postural Sway in Children with Spastic Cerebral Palsy: A Before-After Trial

Background: Kinesio-Tape (KT) is a common method used in rehabilitation, but the KT short-term therapeutic effects on children with cerebral palsy (CP) are unclear yet. Objectives: This study aims to investigate and immediate of postural sway CP. Methods: In this before- after-study, 27 aged between 4 11 years old spastic CP were included. Immediate Quadriceps muscle (QcM) then assessed using time-up go test (TUG) COP (center pressure) displacement five assessments. Results: The results Repeated Measure Analysis show that use QcM could reduce both mediolateral anteroposterior directions improve balance among (P < 0.05). Conclusions: did not change COP’s balance. It was demonstrated its displacement.
